Do you need to use the My Computer icon, or one of the icons within it, often? Well this little tip may make life easier for you.
Right click and hold the My Computer icon and drag the icon to the top of the screen, it will then change to a task bar with all drives showing. You can then take the created task bar over to the side of the screen and create a taskbar box with all the drives, mapped drives included, that is readily accessible from the desktop.
If you already have something at the top of your screen, such as the Creative Sound Blaster floating tool bar, then just right click on the My Computer icon and drag it over to the right side of your screen.
