CMOS Battery Low
Explanation: The CMOS memory that retains the settings establish in the BIOS is powered using a battery so that they are not lost when the PC is turned off. Some motherboards detect when the battery is getting weak, although many do not. If the system is giving you a warning that the battery is getting low on power, then replace the battery.
Diagnosis: The battery is running low. It is unusual for this to be caused by anything else other than a failed or failing battery.
Recommendation: You should still be able to use the system without any problems for a while, but replace the battery as quickly as possible.
