Repairing the Thumbnail Preview in Windows Explorer

Trying to fix the Preview of Thumbnails in Windows Explorer can be extremely vexing at times, even when you have enabled “View As A Web Page” for your desktop settings. If it appears as though none of yours is working, then you may want to cut and paste the registry entries into Notepad and then import them directly into the registry/

Procedure: Open Notepad. Copy everything in between “Begin” and “End” and then paste into Notepad, and then save it as thumbnail.reg.

Now double-click on thumbnail.reg to merge it into your registry.
