DMA Bus Timeout
Explanation: A device in the system has attempted to keep control of the DMA bus for an excessive period of time. Some systems will generate an error condition under these circumstances.
Diagnosis: This is most likely a problem with an expansion device or with the motherboard itself.
Recommendation:
- Begin your troubleshooting with any add-on or generic expansion cards and look for resource conflicts.
- If, after reviewing any add-on or expansion cards, the problem persists, troubleshoot the motherboard by looking for possible shared slot issues, defects or damage to the motherboard or even a dirty card slot.
